I love my country Brunei Darussalam and I thought I've seen everything. Talk about us Bruneians going outside the country for vacation often makes me envy. But my first ever visit to Tasek Merimbun really changed my perspective.
1st ever?? Yeah, first ever. There, I admit it. But let's just see it in a more positive light. It took me some 21 years to live on this earth to find out how beautiful Tasek Merimbun can ever possibly be. And it is recognised as ASEAN heritage park. I think Tasek Merimbun should deserve more than just that. A worldwide recognition perhaps? Being at Tasek Merimbun with my coursemates and Dr. Azman (thanks sir for the visit) somehow made me feel like I was in a different world for the moment. The park houses lots and lots of species of flora and fauna. Let's not waste much time naming them one by one 'coz I won't! (inda ingat jua bah).
The only thing I knew about Tasek Merimbun before the visit was that it is one of the things that Raihan, a Tutong faithful can be proud of along with pulut panggang and Central Mall.
Alright, I think that's just all about it dulu. You can catch more of our trip in my friends' blogs (you know who you are). I'm off to watch Man Utd's match against Fulham. Let some of the pics do some of the talking.
