"......nya urang..."

I was listening to Harmoni FM yesterday morning when the topic discussed by the DJ duo (I don't know their name as I am not a fan of the radio station. I just happened to have listened to it) was Kejujuran or Honesty. Listeners were asked to phoned in and give their own opinions or comments with regards to the topic.

Coming down to the topic, ada tia callers ani menelipun, of course in giving his fruit of thoughts. What I didn't like about this caller is his frequent use of "nya urang" in each and every beginning of his sentences. No offense to the frequent users of this two words but I hate it. I simply do. "nya urang" this, "nya urang" that. I hate it 'coz it shows a lot of unsure-ness in the things that the person is saying. Kan nya urang nya urang tia ganya. Suruh laa urang atu becakap, bukan nya kau!

Get my point here? Stop using "nya urang" when the urang never actually said the things that you said. I find people using these two words to be very unprofessional. Shave my barely hairy legs and call me grandpa. But I'm sticking with my opinion.

Using it once or twice in a while is fine. Totally fine. I use 'em when I find it appropriate too. Ani eeeehh..Mun kan menulis essay 6 page wah, sampai kali eh!

Im annoyed and this post I dedicate specifically to those frequent users of this annoying terms! "Apa nya urang", sasak ku bah!

"Nya urang END!"
