This morning I finally got the chance to wake up late. For nights I've been sleeping really late. I was restless, the others were restless. When I reached home, I felt like I'm back in Heaven. Rumahku lah syurga ku. There's nothing better than taking a long hot bath in my bathroom, sleeping in my own bed and feeding my turtles again.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all MPPs and RESCOs for working together in making the UiTM delegation's trip to Brunei a huge success! We finally managed to put aside our differences. I rate this activity well above that of UMS/UUM delegations.
Yes we were tired. At first, I thought to myself "This is it. Another activity that takes away my precious holiday". I was wrong. During the past 4 days we've been with the UiTM delegations, we became friends, families. Malaysian people are nice people. At first I wanted to get the job done and get over this business quickly. Now here I am blogging about the fun times we had with them hoping that we weren't that close. We built this bond with them, found out that we had lots of things in common and when they were about to go home, it was the suckest moment, suckest feeling that we ever had, wishing that the good times won't end up that soon.
We learnt lots from each other. Shazlin (UiTM student) was impressed with Brunei 'coz drivers in Brunei have the courtesy to slow down in giving passers-by a chance to cross the road, even without zebra-crossings. That's a mission-impossible case in Malaysia. And Sharifah (UiTM student) told me that turtles can survive for a week without being fed.
I also realise that Malaysians prefer Yahoo! above MSN Messenger. Yes, we exchange email address and FaceBook. Til this point I've had enough. I can no longer defend my ego of not having a FaceBook anymore. I know I need to have one. I will have one. Well, I think I will.....I hope.
So my UiTM friends, keep in touch with us always ok? Hopefully we can pay you back a visit. Malaysia is a beautiful place and we would love to step foot in your country shortly.
Here are some of the pictures I took with the 3 girls I hanged out the most with.
